Podkładowy Lakier Poliuretanowy Dwuskładnikowy (LP-7)

APPLICATIONS:
Two component polyurethane primer (LP-7) is intended for impregnation of wood and wood-based materials before application of varnish products. Recommended for furniture and parts of furniture, doors and other wooden surfaces indoors as a flattening and impregnating layer which allows easier sanding.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The varnish features excellent adhesion to wood, easy application allows full coverage of painted elements. Thanks to special additions it simplifies sanding, both manual and mechanical, and does not clog the sanding material. Surface covered with the varnish is perfectly smooth and prepared for final painting. It is a transparent product - it has no colour.

Specific gravity: abt. 1.0 kg/litre
Solids content: abt. 41% (without diluting)
Spreading rate: abt. 8m²/l (Practical coverage depends on the application method, painting conditions and the shape and roughness of the surface to be coated).
Pot life: abt. 8h
Application technique:spraying, brushing
Drying times (100-120g/m²) 20°C: dry to touch - 8h
                                                  dry to stack - 24h
                                         45°C: dry to touch - 1h
                                                  dry to stack - 3h

Drying and recoating times are related to the film thickness, temperature, the relative humidity of the air and ventilation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Stir the varnish carefully. Add 50 % by volume hardener and mix well. Thin the varnish to the viscosity needed with the thinner R-11. Share of thinner should not exceed 20% of the overall mixture. Apply with a brush or by spraying. Do not use the varnish without hardener. The product is ready for use upon mixing in appropriate proportions.

Preparation of surface: The surface to be treated has to be clean and dry. During the application and curing process the temperature of the air, the surface to be treated and the varnish has to be at least 18°C and the relative humidity of the air below 70 %.

Thinning and cleaning of tools: In order to alter the viscosity of the product to and to clean tools and devices stained with unhardened varnish, R-11 thinner for polyurethane products should be used.
